We Are Heartbroken
We are Christians in Nashville, who are saddened and appalled at the barbaric events of October 7th and the rise of antisemitism targeted towards our Jewish friends throughout the world. We want to be the hands and feet of Jesus as we love and cover our Jewish brothers and sisters and lend our support during these uncertain days. We wish to make Nashville a place where our Jewish neighbors feel loved and protected.
Our Mission Statement
October 7th Coalition, a project of The Giving Back Fund, is a movement of Christian shepherds, leaders , influencers, and neighbors, committed to public and private support and protection of the Jewish community, whom we recognize as brothers and sisters in our Judeo-Christian history and tradition, and our shared ancestors of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob/Israel. We recognize Israel’s right to exist and we emphatically and vociferously reject all antisemitism. We are here to unite, promote, and encourage meaningful public and private action in the Christian community to strengthen relationships with our Jewish friends and neighbors. This goal will be achieved through a number of ecumenical opportunities that aim to educate, find common ground, and encourage Christians to find ways to support the Jewish community in their sphere of influence.

Your support fuels community service projects that bring Jewish and Christian organizations together in service and friendship, strengthens college campus initiatives that uplift Jewish students and foster unity, empowers rabbinic and pastoral relationships building bridges of faith, and expands educational efforts that counter misinformation with truth and history. Every gift is an investment in hope, understanding, and the shared calling to stand together in life, goodness, and unity.
